Balanced Deliverance: Book Launch!

On Saturday November 21, 2008, World Impact Church celebrated the launching of Bishop Bob Tacky new book, Balanced Deliverance; Keys to Strategic and Effective Spiritual Warfare. The event was hosted by The Presiding Bishop Joel Thomas of Word of Life Church, Toronto. Also in attendance were Pastors and representatives of various Churches and Ministries in the greater Toronto area.

BALANCE IS KEY!

Every truth has a parallel. Both evil and good exist in the world today. Demons (evil) exist and work to afflict, oppress, and torment the believer. God (good) exists and He works to deliver, liberate, and set the oppressed free. If there is binding, there is also loosing. Jesus Christ preached, taught, and demonstrated the power of God by setting the captive free. It is so important to be balanced in the understanding of spiritual warfare and deliverance. The devil is very happy when Christians are not balanced in their approach. Satan's purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy, according to John 10:10. Only the Son of God can destroy the works of the devil; Jesus Christ is the Anointed One Who sets the captives free. If we are balanced, we will understand who the devil is, what he tries to do, and how he is going to do it. And if we understand that, we can stand victorious with our new identity in Christ, challenging Satan in the Name of Jesus Christ, we are not fighting to win; we fight from a position of victory.
